Lucknow: A delegation from the Akhil Bharatiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal and the Uttar Pradesh Yuva Udyog Vyapar Mandal met Joint Police Commissioner Babloo Kumar at his Daliganj office on Monday. The delegation apprised the senior police official of various pressing issues faced by traders across key markets in Lucknow.
During the meeting, the delegation submitted a memorandum listing several demands aimed at improving coordination between the police and the business community, and enhancing security and traffic management in commercial areas.

Meeting with Market Presidents: The delegation requested the Joint Police Commissioner to convene a meeting with presidents of all major market associations in Lucknow to improve dialogue and coordination between police and traders.

Traffic Control at Major Intersections: They urged for better deployment and management of traffic police to ensure smooth movement and avoid traffic congestion at prominent city junctions.

Increased Police Patrolling: The delegation emphasized the need for intensified police patrolling in major commercial areas to prevent thefts and enhance security.

Curb on Unauthorized E-Rickshaws: They called for strict action against unauthorized e-rickshaws operating without permits, which often contribute to traffic chaos.

Monthly Meeting of Trader Security Cell: The delegation proposed that the monthly meetings of the Trader Security Cell be held regularly to address security concerns in a timely manner.
